Refund policy

At Nicole's Coastal Boutique, we are committed to offering a clear and transparent shopping experience.

Please read this policy carefully before placing your order. By making a purchase through our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms described below.

1. Return Period

Eligible products may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided that they meet the conditions listed below.

2. Conditions for Returns

An item may be returned when:

  • It is unused, unworn, and undamaged

  • It remains in its original condition

  • All original labels and packaging are still intact

  • The return request is made within the applicable return period

  • The return has been authorized in advance by our customer service team

You may try on an item to check the fit, just as you would in a physical retail store.

When an item shows visible signs of wear, washing, or damage, a deduction for the reduction in value may be applied.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order is delivered damaged or defective, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. This allows us to review the situation and provide an appropriate resolution as quickly as possible.

To report an issue, please email info@nicolescoastalboutique.com and include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photographs of the item and its original packaging

  • A brief explanation of the issue

Eligible claims submitted within this period may qualify for a replacement, partial refund, store credit, or another suitable resolution. The outcome will depend on the circumstances and the evidence provided.

Claims received more than 14 days after delivery may no longer qualify for a free replacement or refund.

4. Items Excluded from Returns

Returns cannot be accepted for:

  • Items with broken hygiene seals

  • Personalized or custom-made products

  • Items damaged as a result of improper use

Underwear, shapewear, and bras cannot be returned after the hygiene seal has been removed.

5. Return Shipping & Restocking Fee

All returns must be shipped to our central warehouse located in Asia.

Customers are responsible for:

  • All costs associated with return shipping

  • Choosing a shipping provider that supports customs clearance

  • Paying any applicable customs duties, taxes, or handling charges

  • Providing complete and accurate customs documentation

Nicole's Coastal Boutique cannot be held responsible for return shipments that are delayed, rejected, or lost because of customs issues or the use of an incorrect shipping method.

Restocking Fee

A 15% restocking fee is charged on all approved returns.

This fee helps cover the costs of inspecting, processing, and handling returned inventory.

The same 15% restocking fee also applies to:

  • Unopened packages

  • Packages refused at the time of delivery

  • Packages that remain unclaimed and are automatically returned to us

Exceptions

The restocking fee may only be waived when the item was delivered damaged or defective.

Every case is assessed individually.

6. Return Address

Returns must only be shipped to the return address supplied by our customer service team after the return has been approved.

Returns sent to a different address cannot be processed.

7. How to Start a Return

To begin a return request, please email info@nicolescoastalboutique.com with the following information:

  • Your order number

  • The item or items you would like to return

  • Your reason for requesting the return

  • Clear photographs, when the item is damaged or defective

  • Your full name and shipping address

Return instructions will be provided within 24 business hours, Monday through Friday.

8. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 30 minutes of purchase.

After order processing has started, cancellation requests are no longer guaranteed and may be declined depending on the order’s status.

Once an order has been delivered, you may request a return in accordance with the conditions of this policy.

Cancellation requests approved after the initial 30-minute cancellation period may be subject to an 8% processing and restocking fee. This fee covers payment processing, handling, and operational expenses that have already been incurred.

9. Refunds

After your return has been received and inspected:

  • You will be informed of the outcome

  • Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for your bank or payment provider to finalize the refund

When applicable, the 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Optional insured shipping purchased during checkout is also non-refundable.

10. How Discounts Work When You Return Items

When an order includes a promotional discount, such as a bundle offer, Stack & Save promotion, or buy-more-save-more deal, returning part of the order may affect the final refund amount.

Discounts are recalculated according to the items you keep rather than the items included in the original purchase.

Example

When returned items cause your remaining order to no longer meet the promotion’s requirements, the discount will be removed and the refund will be recalculated accordingly.

Refund amounts are always determined using the final qualifying order value after returned items have been taken into account.

A 15% restocking fee may apply, and return shipping expenses remain the customer’s responsibility.

11. Store Credit

In certain situations, store credit may be offered at our discretion.

Store credit cannot be refunded and may only be issued once for each order.

12. Failed Delivery or Incorrect Address

When an order is returned because an incomplete or incorrect address was entered during checkout, we may:

  • Arrange one redelivery after the package has arrived back at our warehouse and the correct address has been confirmed; or

  • Offer store credit as a goodwill gesture, depending on the condition of the returned products

When returned items are no longer in their original condition, a deduction for the reduction in value may be applied.

13. Policy Updates

Nicole's Coastal Boutique reserves the right to revise or update this policy at any time.

Any changes become effective immediately after they are published on our website.
